God Will Take Care Of Your “To-Do” List!

Ever felt overwhelmed by the size of your “to-do” list? 😰

That was me a couple of weeks ago. 🙋🏼‍♀️

We recently moved into a house on acreage that needs a lot of work, and I was starting to feel mentally exhausted by the long list of things that need to be done. 😵‍💫

But then I reminded myself that God says to cast ALL our care onto Him, and He will do the “caring” FOR us. (1 Pet 5:7) 🙌🏼

He also tells us to call those things that currently “be not” as though they “were”. (Rom 4:17) 🗣

So I decided to make a list of all the jobs that need doing and cast the care of each one of them onto the Lord, and I called them “done” in Jesus’ name. 📝

I went down my list and said, “I cast the care of this job onto you, Lord…I call you DONE in Jesus’s name.” 🗣

Then every time I was tempted to think of the jobs on the list, I simply said, “I call you done, in Jesus’ name.” 🙏🏼

And within days things started happening and falling into place that enabled us to tick a huge chunk of “to-do”s off that list. ✅

Several people even contacted us who we hadn’t heard from for ages and said they were ready to do what we’d asked them to do months ago. 🙌🏼

The jobs didn’t magically disappear, but God’s GRACE and FAVOUR came over them so that they got done quickly, easily, and without me having to carry the stress and care of them. 😇

God promises us that when we trust Him with ALL our hearts (mind, will, and emotions) and LEAN NOT on our own understanding (what we can figure out about the situations) but acknowledge Him (trust Him, cast our care onto Him) in ALL our ways (even the “to-do” lists!), He promises to direct our paths – to make them straight and smooth. (Prov 3:5-6, Strong’s) ✅

I encourage you to write your “to-do” list down, and cast the care of each of those items onto the Lord by saying, “I cast the care of … onto you, Lord.”📝

Then speak to each of those items and say, “You are done, in Jesus’ name!” 🗣

Every time you’re tempted to think about the items on that list, cast the care and call them done. 🙏🏼
