I’ll willingly admit that I’m no fan of football, neither do have I have the slightest idea of the rules of play, but last night I sat watching the Rugby League Grand Final with my husband. 🏈

And something even I could see was that no matter how many players, fans, or coaches thought that the player scored, it was the REFEREE who got the final decision in what was in and what was out, what was a score and what wasn’t a score. 🙅🏻

When it comes to life decisions and choices, we have been blessed with an inner referee that will guide us to make the right decisions. 😇

Colossians 3:15 advises, “Let the PEACE of God RULE in your hearts.”

The word “rule” literally means to “act as an umpire (or referee)”. ✋🏼

In other words, when we let peace act as the referee or umpire in our hearts, our peace will determine what’s “in” and what’s “out”, what stays, and what goes. 👍🏼👎🏼

And just like a real-life sports match, no matter how many people think we should say “yes” or “no” to something, when there are conflicting forces or decisions, it’s our peace that gets the final say. 🙌🏼

No matter how tempting the choice or golden the opportunity, we must first CHECK OUR PEACE, and let peace make the final call on what we do or don’t do. 👍🏼👎🏼

If we are experiencing a LACK of peace, we must see that as a big, red flag that is saying, “STOP!! Don’t go this way!!” 🛑

When we let peace rule in our hearts, this is one of the ways we allow ourselves to be led by the Spirit and we will always make the right decision the first time, every time! ✅

That’s GOOD NEWS! 🙌🏼 #winning#faithtalks
