🚨This post may save your life!!👇🏼

Do you know that under the New Covenant, the ONLY command God has given us is the command to LOVE? ❤️

John 13:34 – A new command I give to you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

John 15:17 – This is my command to you: Love one another.

Romans 13:8 – For he who loves his neighbour has FULFILLED THE LAW.

This command isn’t just to love our “nice” neighbour or the neighbour that agrees with us, it’s to love ALL our neighbours.

❤️Our politician neighbour

❤️Our liberal neighbour

❤️Our conservative neighbour

❤️Our pro-choice neighbour

❤️Our pro-life neighbour

❤️Our LGBTQI+ neighbour

❤️Our pro-vax neighbour

❤️Our anti-vax neighbour

❤️Our atheist neighbour

❤️Our religious neighbour

❤️Our neighbour who hurt us

❤️Our neighbour who disagrees with us

❤️Our neighbour who irritates us

❤️Our neighbour who betrayed us

❤️Our neighbour who hates us

God has commanded us to love EVERY neighbour. 👥

What does that mean?

❤️Love is always patient and kind.

❤️Love doesn’t gossip, complain, criticise, condemn, or judge.

❤️Love doesn’t mock or ridicule.

❤️Love doesn’t hold onto offence, unforgiveness, resentment, or jealousy.

❤️Love doesn’t dwell on unlovely thoughts about others.

❤️Love doesn’t speak unlovely words to or about others.

❤️Love always treats others the way they would want to be treated.

❤️Love prays FOR and BLESSES others.

(2 Cor 13:4-8)

Does it take effort? YES! ABSOLUTELY!😅

Our flesh wants to rile up and get offended, get angry, gossip and complain, hold onto unforgiveness and hurt, or just SAY it to get it off our chest. 😡

But that’s why God tells us to crucify the flesh with its sinful passions and desires ✝️ (Gal 5:24).

We have to nail those feelings and desires to the same cross that Jesus was tortured on for us, and choose to love them because He first loved us. ✝️🟰❤️

But guess what? It’s WORTH IT, and it may even save your life!

Look at this!👇🏼

1 John 5:18 says, “Whoever is born of God does not sin (against the commandment to love) but he GUARDS HIMSELF, and the wicked one CANNOT touch him.”🚫

Our adversary the devil roams around LOOKING for someone to devour – someone who has made themselves EASY PREY. (1 Pet 5:8, Jn 10:10) 👿

But He CANNOT touch the person who remains guarded because they refuse to break the commandment to LOVE!🛡

Do you realize what this means?!

🛡Sickness and disease cannot touch them!

🛡Destruction and disaster cannot touch them!

🛡Accidents and tragedy cannot touch them!

🛡Fear and terror cannot touch them!

All of the Old Testament laws that people had to obey in order to stay protected and safe from harm are now fulfilled in ONE law: “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” (Gal 5:14)

All God asks us to do it love others. That’s it! ☺️

Because person who remains in LOVE remains UNTOUCHABLE.❤️ #faithtalks

Say this every day:

“I love you Lord, and I choose to love my neighbour because you first loved me. I choose to forgive because you first forgave me. I choose to see people as Jesus sees them – through eyes of grace. I can do these things because I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” (Mk 12:30-31, Phil 4:13)
