Ever wondered what Revelation 12:10-11 means when it says, “The accuser of the brethren…has been cast down. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”? 🤔

Firstly, notice that it says that our accuser – Satan – has already been cast down (defeated/put in a lower place), but WE overcome (conquer, are victorious over) him:
1. By the blood of the Lamb, and
2. The word of our testimony

What does that mean?

1. The blood of Jesus paid for our salvation, healing, deliverance, protection, provision and peace in every area of our life. It is a finished work! 🩸✝️
But now, we have to add our testimony!🗣

A “testimony” is a statement, declaration, affirmation, or evidence given of something. (Oxford dictionary)

2. So, when the enemy shows up to try to steal, kill and destroy, we overcome him by declaring, affirming, giving evidence of and TESTIFYING of what Jesus’ blood paid for! 🗣

When sickness or disease show up, we TESTIFY, “No! You cannot touch my body! The blood of Jesus paid for my healing; By His stripes I AM healed!” (1 Peter 2:24) 🗣

When depression or anxiety show up, we TESTIFY, “No! I have perfect peace and joy because Jesus bore all my grief and carried all my sorrow! The joy of the Lord is my strength!” (Isaiah 53:4, Nehemiah 8:10) 🗣

When terror or disaster threaten our family, we TESTIFY, “The angels of the Lord encamp around us! A thousand may fall at our side and ten thousand at our right hand but it SHALL NOT come near us!” (Psalm 34:7, 91:7)🗣

Go to the Word and find your precious promises. They are your EVIDENCE of what Jesus’ blood paid for! They are your testimony! 🙌🏼

When we add our testimony to what the blood of the Lamb accomplished and refuse to budge, we will overcome every time! ✌🏼

That’s GOOD NEWS! 🙌🏼 #faithtalks
