Good morning friends! Please allow me to tell you why you do NOT have to be scared of the devil! ๐Ÿšซ
.
โ˜‘๏ธ Jesus utterly defeated him and permanently disarmed him at the cross and made a public spectacle of him.(Colossians 2:15)
.
โ˜‘๏ธ When Jesus was raised up, we were raised up WITH him and are now seated together WITH him FAR ABOVE the devil and all his forces. They are now under our feet! (Ephesians 2:6)
.
โ˜‘๏ธ We have been given authority over ALL of the power of the enemy – that is, ANYTHING thatโ€™s stealing, killing or destroying!) Luke 10:19, John 10:10)
.
๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ We have authority over sickness and disease.
๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ We have authority over debt and lack.
๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ We have authority over fear, depression and anxiety.
๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ We have authority over strife, offence and unforgiveness.
๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ We have authority over addiction and immorality.
๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ We have authority over the โ€œgod of this worldโ€ who lies to unsaved people, deceives them and blinds their eyes to the light of the gospel. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ We have authority over the demonic spirits that are lying to the people in positions of authority in our nations and influencing them to make decisions that are in direct contradiction to the Word of God.
.
We do NOT have to be scared of the devil, but we DO have to resist (stand against) him. (James 4:7) ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿผ
.
And how do we resist him? ๐Ÿค”
.
By speaking directly to him and anything from him in our authority using the Word of God and the name of Jesus! (Mark 11:23)๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ“–
.
And the Bible promises that when we resist the devil he will FLEE. (James 4:7) ๐Ÿ’จ
.
โ€œFleeโ€ means to โ€œrun in terrorโ€! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
.
You donโ€™t have to be scared of the devil! ๐Ÿšซ
.
When you know who you are in Christ and your authority as a believer, the devil is terrified of you! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ
.
Thatโ€™s GOOD NEWS! ๐Ÿฅณย #faithtalks
