You will never see a world-champion fighter run at his opponent blindly with arms flailing, hoping to land a punch. ๐ค๐ผ
No, a champion fighter knows his opponent.
He has studied his opponentโs moves closely and knows exactly how he must fight in order to defeat his opponent and defend his title.๐ฅ
When the fighter steps into the ring, he gets into an intimidating fighting stance and begins to place intentional, well-aimed and effective blows on his opponent. ๐ค๐ผ
He does this repeatedly, for however long it takes, until the match is over. ๐
We are in the fight of faith, and 1 Corinthians 9:26 tells us that we DO NOT fight as one beating the air. ๐จ
We do not fight the good fight of faith blindly with flailing arms, throwing aimless punches and hoping something hits. ๐ฎโ๐จ
Instead, we take our stance boldly in front of our opponent – whether itโs sickness, lack, relationship problems, depression or anxiety, or anything thatโs trying to steal our โtitleโ- and make intentional, well-aimed and effective โblowsโ. ๐๐ผ
๐ค๐ผ We remind our adversary that he IS defeated and that he cannot touch us – and place a well-aimed blow (Lk 10:19)
๐ค๐ผ We use the name of Jesus and command that โkneeโ to bow – and place a well-aimed blow. (Phil 2:10)
๐ค๐ผ We speak to the situation (mountain) and command it to move – and place a well-aimed blow. (Mt 17:20)
๐ค๐ผ We declare the promises of God and call things that be not as though they WERE (body, you ARE healed, I HAVE peace and not anxiety, I HAVE abundance and no lack) – and place a well-aimed blow. (Rom 4:17)
๐ค๐ผ We cast down every lie and suggestion from the enemy and replace it with the Word – and place a well-aimed blow. (2 Cor 10:5)
๐ค๐ผ We praise God that we already have the victory and that we are triumphant overcomers – and place a well-aimed blow. (2 Cor 2:14)
We use precise, intentional, well-aimed, and CONSISTENT strategy to hit our adversary hard and keep him in his place – totally and utterly defeated. ๐ช๐ผ๐ฅโ๐ผ#faithtalks
